Colour Matching Disclaimer

We try our best to represent colours accurately on 999Tee.com. However, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed across screens, lighting, and production batches, especially for DTG prints and embroidery.

Quick clarity: Minor shade/tone variation is normal and isn’t treated as a defect. If you need certainty, contact us before ordering.

What impacts colour accuracy

Screen and lighting differences

Screens & lighting

  • Brightness, saturation, True Tone / Night Shift, and filters change how colours appear.
  • Indoor lighting vs daylight shifts fabric tone.
  • Glossy vs matte screens display colours differently.
Screen and lighting differences

Embroidery (caps / t-shirt)

  • Thread has natural sheen, so colour shifts slightly by angle and lighting.
  • Suede/twill/mesh texture changes how thread colour is perceived.
  • Stitch density can make colours appear richer or softer.

Also note: camera flash and strong sunlight can make threads look brighter than they are. If you’re comparing shades, check product images in normal indoor light (not only outdoor photos).

For custom embroidery or bulk orders, we can confirm the thread direction on email before production. Email: support@999tee.com

DTG print notes (t-shirts)

DTG output can vary based on garment colour, fabric texture, and artwork profile. Dark garments may require an underlayer, which can slightly change perceived vibrancy.

  • Same artwork can look different on different fabric shades.
  • Very bright neon-like colours may look slightly different in real life.

Important print disclaimer (DTG)

Even on a well-calibrated screen, colours shown online are a visual reference and may not match the final printed result exactly. Print output also depends on how ink interacts with fabric fibres and the base colour of the garment.
